Dato Janin Girie

GROUP CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

Dato Janin is the Group Chief Executive Officer of YTL. He has more than 30 years’ experience in the oil and gas industry, holding various leadership roles in Malaysia and abroad with Shell, PETRONAS and YTL. Dato Janin joined YTL in 2019 as Executive Vice President (EVP) Downstream.

Prior to joining YTL, Dato Janin was Country Head and Chairman of Petronas Carigali Nile Ltd., PETRONAS South Sudan.

Dato Janin is also Executive Director of YTL Group of Companies namely YTL Corporation Exploration & Production Sdn. Bhd. YTL Corporation Gas Sdn. Bhd., Sarawak Gas Distribution Sdn. Bhd., YTL Power Sdn. Bhd.
